History
Tony Shakespeare started Sharay Marketing in the autumn of 1976, acting as a commercial sales agent for bathroom and associated products. After many years working the South East of the country Tony employed Nathan Helms.
Nathan had been working in a busy showroom on the South Coast and
had been there about three years when he joined Tony in the summer
of 1990. Nathan's enthusiastic approach led to excellent results
and after many years of successful teamwork Nathan was appointed
as a partner in April 1999.
In January of 2000 Mark Livesey joined the team. Mark had worked with Triton showers as an area sales manager and also for Dimplex heating as a Regional Sales Manager. Mark's professional sales training and similarly professional approach has lead to excellent results in the North London and Northern Home Counties area and as a result of his fine performance Mark was appointed as a partner in April 2002.
Working the competitive area of South London and the South East is Geoff Hogg. Geoff joined us in September 2002 after many years at Gummers. He had also worked in the Merchant and Retail sector and his experience there along with his tenacious approach has proved invaluable.
In February of 2005 Sharay expanded further by employing David Cheshire.
David is working alongside Mark in Sharay North, covering East Anglia
and surrounding area. David brings with him first class IT skills
and a similarly structured approach to business development. David
has fast become an excellent member of Sharay Marketing

For some time Sharay had looked to the National Merchant customer
base as a way of increasing sales with particular brands. The national
groups have a large presence in the South East so to that end we
took on Daniel Webb in May 2008. Daniel has worked for a top London
showroom and for a large national Distributor of Bathroom Ware.
Daniel primarily covers the National Merchant Groups along with
a number of independents in Sharay South, effectively shadowing
the same regions as Nathan & Geoff. This means that Nathan &
Geoff can focus on the independent showrooms and strengthen the
brands with them.
In January 2009 Sharay decided to drill down further into their
areas of coverage and divide the area further and so we recruited
Angela Cryan. Angela has worked in a very busy North London showroom
for 15 years. Her enthusiastic detailed approach and great product
knowledge has ensured both stability with our customer base and
added further growth in the area.
Most recently we have decided to replicate the merchant role in
the Sharay North region. To further strengthen the depth of coverage
in the area we have taken on Tony Smith. Tony has spent some years
working in the bathroom retail sector and Tonys conscientious
and thorough approach will help him use those same skills to good
effect on the road. Tony started with us in November 2009.
We have found that with a team of 8 people covering this area not
unusual for two representatives yields both excellent results and
build a sound relationship with our customer base. The depth of
coverage means that we can deliver first class customer service
to our customer base.
